Ve'nari is already expecting you and helps you access Torghast, where you rescue Baine from Warden Arkoban. You are summoned to Oribos by Highlord Bolvar Fordragon, who suggests you ask Ve'nari in the Maw if she can help you find Baine. You form a special bond with Pelagos in the Soulbind ritual, and learn how to unlock certain upgrades in your Covenant Sanctuary. You venture into the Maw, where you rescue souls and bring them back to your Covenant with the help of a broker named Ve'nari, and witness Baine Bloodhoof being dragged into Torghast, Tower of the Damned. You are gifted special abilities unique to the Kyrian, unlock World Quests, and you are rewarded with your first Renown. Having been asked to choose a Covenant, you join the Kyrian and learn about various aspects of your new role.
